For Your Health

Being well and eating well means becoming aware of choices and making the right decisions to achieve a better today and a better tomorrow. Your Sodexo dining team is committed to offering you a wide range of options for a healthy dining experience. From recipes that include the most nutritious mix of ingredients to offering educational resources for positive lifestyle habits, healthy options are the result of a team dedicated to advancing the well-being of the entire campus community.

Another important part of our focus on health and wellness is the use of seasonal menus, featuring fresh and healthy ingredients - many of which are grown by local or regional farmers. Every season has its own unique produce that is showcased in delicious signature dishes to highlight the distinct flavors and natural appeal of seasonal items.

For students who have special dietary and nutritional needs we have informational resources and customized menus to address your needs. These menus meet the strictest compliance standards, without sacrificing flavor, texture or presentation.

Providing you with healthy options is something the Marquette University Dining team proudly does every day. We help you select delicious, nutritious and satisfying meals, snacks and desserts by highlighting well-balanced menu choices and providing nutritional information and tips to help you make choices that fit your needs.

Allertrain Logo Managers Certified by AllerTrain TM

The incidence of food allergies and sensitivities is increasing in the general population. This trend can be found on campuses as well. In order to offer all students safe, flavorful meals while at Marquette, Sodexo Dining Services began by offering Simple Servings; meals void of gluten and seven of the eight most common food allergens. This semester we took it one step further by having all dining managers learn more about food allergies and become certified by AllerTrainTM. AllerTrainTM teaches food handling procedures to ensure safe delivery of meals to diners with food allergies,  intolerances, or sensitivities, including gluten intolerance and Celiac disease. AllerTrainTM is recognized by The American Culinary Federation and Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Our staff is prepared to address food allergy issues with any student on campus.
